Designed to be used by twirlers with an intermediate or advanced skill level, this Fire Baton from Star Line is made from chrome plated steel and is perfectly weighted and balanced for ease of handling. This long lasting, durable baton is available in 24″, 26″, 28″, or 30″ lengths with a smooth 7/16″ diameter shaft. The thicker 7/16 inch diameter shaft has a more substantial feel and more surface area for easier handling.

*Band Shoppe strongly suggests taking student measurements for the most accurate sizing.
Have the student stand with legs together, back straight, and twirling arm extended parallel with the floor. Using a cloth measuring tape, measure from the base of the neck to the tip of the middle finger – the result is your suggested baton length. If the number falls between lengths, size up.
Note:Â Some groups prefer the method of measuring from the under-arm to the end of the middle finger. Consult your group leader before using this method.
If you cannot take measurements, please refer to the guidelines below: If the twirler is tall for their age, add 1 to 2 inches. If they are small for their age, subtract 1 to 2 inches. These suggested lengths are based on the average student. These guidelines are not a guarantee that the baton will be at the preferred length of the twirler.
