IN-HOUSE DESIGN SERVICES
Our design services include full-color sketches to help you visualize the end result and your personalized price quote from our Sales Team. Already have a logo for your school or university? Great! For the best print quality, pixel-based image files MUST be sent at 300dpi in jpg, psd, or tif format, while vector-based image files (preferred) MUST be in ai, eps, or pdf format. Your organization’s administration can typically provide these files.
Be sure to check with our Sales Team about any charges associated with art setup. In general, we do not charge a setup fee, but complex designs or numerous modifications will require additional charges.

How much does decoration cost?
The final cost depends on the decoration style, the number of colors, and the complexity of your artwork. For a free quote, email your artwork and order size to sales@superiorcheer.com
Do you have a minimum quantity order?
Screen printing is generally used for quantities of 24 or more due to the amount of setup required. Other techniques such as Embroidery, Appliqué, and Heat Transfers have a minimum of 6 pieces per location and logo. Digital Printing has no minimums or setup fees.
What do you need to use my design?
We can digitize your logo using any digital image. For the best print quality, pixel-based image files MUST be sent at 300dpi in jpg, psd, or tif format, while vector-based image files (preferred) MUST be in ai, eps, or pdf format. Your organization’s administration can typically provide these files. Or if you don’t have an image, we can create a design for you.
How long does it take to have my order ready?
Delivery times will vary depending on the garment and the time of year. Embellishment time is in addition to normal production times. Please check our Manufacturing Schedule (PDF) or call our Sales Team for the most up-to-date delivery schedule.
EMBROIDERY
Embroidery is one of the most versatile decoration styles. Whether you are looking for a small left chest or a bold design, this technique is perfect to show off your team pride. Give your group a professional edge with custom embroidered uniforms, apparel, bags, and accessories. Our in-house digitizer converts your logo or idea into a stitch-ready format that our industrial embroidery machines use to decorate your garment. With the latest embroidery equipment and digitizing software, Superior Cheer produces great-looking embroidered items at prices to fit your budget!
APPLIQUÉ
Applique is the process most cheerleaders are familiar with, it’s the style most used of cheer shells! Applique utilizes fabric pieces, sequins, and embroidery to create a large, dimensional design that can cut down on stitch count, saving you money in the long run. Not just for uniform shells, this technique is also great for left chest designs.
We can customize your design to fit your specific needs, including a combination of materials such as felts, tackle twill, chenille, metallics, and print options for unique designs that will wow fans!
Screen Printing
Screen printing works well for vibrant designs or designs on dark-colored tees. The screen print process involves forcing ink through prepared screens of a fine silk mesh to create your design. This means only one color can be applied at a time to the garment, so the number of colors is limited. Screen printing is generally used for quantities of 24 or more due to the setup required. This style is not ideal for small or intricate designs.
Digital Print
Also known as dye-sublimation, digital printing is a direct-to-garment process where inks are printed directly onto the product with the latest technology to ensure fantastic color saturation and sharp images. This cutting-edge process locks in color, making them completely machine washable. Superior Cheer offers digitally printed uniforms, flags, and our team wear options. There are no minimums or setup fees for digital printing.
Vinyl & Heat Transfers
Vinyl & Heat Transfers use high-performance technology to create contour-cut designs applied to garments using a heat press. The heat-applied materials contain a heat-sensitive adhesive on one side so that the material adheres to the garment when heat is applied. This technique is the same method typically used to apply team names and numbers to athletic uniforms and warm-ups. Vinyl and heat transfers are available in several options, including classic vinyl, nylon, stretch, flocked, metallics, glitter, and more!
Rhinestones & Glitter
Add sparkle to your cheer uniforms and warm-ups! Glitter deigns are great by themselves, or combine them with rhinestones, rhinestuds, and nailheads for even more BLING. Glitter vinyl is perfect for dance or cheer wear, or anywhere you need to add some sparkle. Glitter vinyl is durable, wash after wash. And rhinestones can also be added to applique, screen printed, and digital transfers!
