And the ultra bright custom high-temp LEDs respond to acceleration as you spin! No more replacing batteries or glo sticks – just recharge the lights using two (2) micro USB cords, included with your shipment. Slightly lighter than a traditional steel baton, but with more weight at the ends for great rotational inertia and momentum. The carbon fiber shaft is covered in glittering deco tape with a custom elastomer grip. The Lumina Twirl Baton V2 is super durable and includes the industry-leading lifetime warranty on all parts for repair or replacement with no charge to the customer. *Band Shoppe strongly suggests taking student measurements for the most accurate sizing.
Have the student stand with legs together, back straight, and twirling arm extended parallel with the floor. Using a cloth measuring tape, measure from the base of the neck to the tip of the middle finger – the result is your suggested baton length. If the number falls between lengths, size up.
Note:Â Some groups prefer the method of measuring from the under-arm to the end of the middle finger. Consult your group leader before using this method.
If you cannot take measurements, please refer to the guidelines below: If the twirler is tall for their age, add 1 to 2 inches. If they are small for their age, subtract 1 to 2 inches. These suggested lengths are based on the average student. These guidelines are not a guarantee that the baton will be at the preferred length of the twirler.
